The First Time

So I really haven't been feeling up to too much of making backgrounds. General depression from the previous bad relationship and a weird work schedule tends to keep my time to make anything at bay. I've also been playing an MMO with a good friend of mine as she drags me along on missions with her tiny tank.

As for Dark Souls. It's still an amazing game to me, and thus as I've been playing it I felt I needed a new desktop background for Dark Souls as the regular black knight wallpaper was starting to feel a bit stale. I really can't do much with Dark Souls though at the current time with my low skill level in photoshop as I have a hard time finding any renders at all of Dark Souls. Thus a simple screenshot and basic color alterations and some random brush strokes for texture is all I got for the moment.

Currently in the game I'm at the final boss fight, kind of running back around through the game and tying up loose ends and collecting anything I may have missed for preparation of New Game +.

As for the quote "I remember the first time I died", it's from one of the trailers for Dark Souls. (Here: [link] ) As the term always stuck in my head as I play through the game. Sadly my first in game death wasn't as epic as dying to the Gaping Dragon. More like pulling a stupid move with low health and trying to lunge the tutorial boss from atop the perch and missing. Thus, dying to gravity. Much failing was to be had.
